Elmo Crashes Game of Thrones Scene in Cute Sesame Street Crossover

first_imgStay on target Respect is coming: Elmo tried to bring peace to Westeros in a recent Game of Thrones and Sesame Street mashup and the furry friend might have repaired a major sibling conflict. On Thursday, the Sesame Street character “interrupted” a conversation between Cersei Lannister and Tyrion Lannister, who were in a disagreement over kingdom troubles. While they’re trying to talk it out, Elmo, in full armor, shows up and asks the pair to respect each other.“You can’t ignore me forever,” Tyrion Lannister tells Cersei Lannister in the clip. “I only want what’s best for Westeros.”Cersei Lannister chimes in, “And, I only want for you to not get what you want.” (Sigh.)Cue in Elmo, who makes a lot of noise with his armor and says, “Excuse Elmo!” and introduces himself to the siblings.“Elmo thinks that you two need to respect each other. When Elmo has a problem with his friends, like Abby or Cookie Monster, Elmo doesn’t get upset,” Elmo says in the video. “Elmo listens and learns from what they have to say. ”Tyrion Lannister, who seems to be on board, says, “If we stop fighting and work together, we can be stronger. I’m willing to learn and listen if you are.”Cersei Lannister seems to not be as delighted with little Elmo, and she needs a moment to get it together. Finally, she dryly replies, “I can try.”Things get a bit awkward when Elmo can’t toast to the occasion, but regardless, the furry red monster maybe patched things up between the two siblings.More on Geek.com:‘Game of Thrones’ Writer: It was ‘Tough’ to Reveal Jon Snow’s True HeritageFirst Look: ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8, Episode 2 PhotosKit Harington: ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 8 Critics Can ‘Go F*ck Themselves’ ‘Game of Thrones’ Targaryen Prequel Series Is Reportedly Coming to HBO‘Game of Thrones’ Star Kit Harington Joins Marvel’s &#… last_img
