Swansea double bid for French star Stambouli

first_img Benjamin Stambouli 1 Swansea have made a second offer for Montpellier midfielder Benjamin Stambouli, according to reports in France.The Swans had a £2.5m bid rejected earlier this week but have now returned with an improved offer.And now it has been reported the Premier League side are willing to double their initial offer to around £5m.That is said to be closer to Montpellier’s asking price, although there is still no guarantee the Ligue 1 team will part with the 23-year-old.In fact, the team’s coach, Rolland Courbis, believes Stambouli is worth more than £10m.“I see Stambouli (as a €15m player).
